The club is thriving; between 30 to 40 players each night. We play lots of games at the club. See the pics below. They vary from week to week. Here is a picture display of some from one evening. Come and join in.
The Bloodbowl League. Some players started a revival at the club of this popular game. If you are interested bring your team along on a Thursday or arrange a game on our facebook group. Now a League has been set up.
Blood Bowl is a Fantasy Football game created by Jervis Johnson for the British games company Games Workshop (but now under the aegis of their Specialist Games division) as a parody of American Football. The game was first released in 1987 and has been re-released in new editions since. Blood Bowl is set in an alternate version of the Warhammer Fantasy setting, populated by traditional fantasy elements such as human warriors, goblins, dwarves, elves, orcs and trolls. I don’t know who posted this up on Wikipedia but two players had a game last week. A revival as it has often been played at the Headingley Games Club. WYBBL or the West Yorkshire Blood Bowl League is the name for our local league. In essence, we are a group within the local gaming clubs community (we also occasionally play at the Airebourgh gaming club) that specifically cater to Blood Bowl (this ensures we don’t swamp this group with constant Blood Bowl banter). We also run tournaments (our next one being at the 5th Meanwood games day in January)
